Happy New Year!! I hope this year all your deepest and most sincere prayers are heard and answered. Last year (well, really), the last two years have been rough. So we should celebrate still being here.
For me, I started taking my mental health more seriously right before the pandemic kicked off and I am so glad that I did. I’ve had so many things I was able to process and thought patterns to unlearn. That with the added stress of a pandemic, I think I would have been sent in a tailspin. Making sure that I am responsible for my thoughts and actions have been key for the journey to healing. I’ve healed alot of the last two years.
People choose many different routes to healing, but regardless of the route-work must be done. It isn’t magic and it takes a lot of trust and forgiveness to get to the root of an issue.
Therapy isn’t for everyone and it’s not always accessible either, so I know it’s a privilege for me to be able to afford (via insurance) my route to healing. Even before therapy, I was highly interested in being whole and healthy and tried a few different routes, I encouraged the same for you. Don’t get discouraged if something doesn’t work for you.
Celebrate all your wins this year, explore healing and wholeness.
